These fact sheets outline source materials and data synthesis used as background for evaluation of the 12 infrastructure categories examined in the 2003 Progress Report for America's Infrastructure. ASCE determined progress and trends since 2001 by evaluating the infrastructure's condition, performance, capacity and funding relative to actions by policy makers to address issues and problems.
