Anil Garg obtained a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in India in 1986, a master’s degree in structural engineering from the Indian Institute of technology Delhi in 2000, and a doctorate in structural engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2007. He also holds a master’s in business administration, which he obtained in 1998 from the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Garg’s more than 26 years of civil engineering experience includes planning, design, surveying, project management, structural design and research besides teaching. Currently a Senior Engineer with Willbros Engineers (US), LLC in Fort Worth, he serves the midstream, Oil and Gas industry on various projects for exploration, processing and transmission of crude oil, natural, gas, besides handling of by-products. Prior to joining Willbros, he served as senior civil structural engineer for A P Engineering Consultant, Inc., Jacobs Engineering Group, and DSIIDC (India). He has worked in education, aviation, transportation, railroad, industrial, commercial, oil and gas and defense sector. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and Louisiana. Garg has a number of technical publications and presentations to his credit. He is also serving as educator for the University of Texas at Arlington as adjunct faculty and serving on many technical committees in the field of structural engineering.
