John Grieshaber is a principal with Long, Tann & D’Onofrio, Inc., a structural engineering firm with offices in Wilmington, Delaware and Malvern, Pennsylvania. John is a Region 2 Governor for ASCE, past-president of the Delaware Section and continues to serve the section as the state government relations director. He is a past member of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) of ASCE Board of Governors, and currently chairs the SEI Administrative Committee on Continuing Education and serves on the SEI Local Activities Division Executive Committee and the SEI Membership Committee. Previously John chaired the SEI Local Activities Division Executive Committee and was a member of the SEI Structures Congress Committee. For ASCE, John currently serves on the Engineering Practice Policy Committee, has served as the chair of ASCE’s Committee on Career Guidance and served on the Committee on Professional Practice and the Committee on Continuing Education.
John is a graduate of Drexel University with a master’s degree in structural engineering and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is married to his wife Meg and has two daughters. In his spare time, John is a polar bear plunger (11 years in a row!) to support Special Olympics Delaware, is a past Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus, and volunteers at the A.I. DuPont Children’s hospital.
