Lisa is the Bridge Department Manager at Jacobs where she has been employed since 1999. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Lisa graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1998 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and completed her Master’s Degree in 2006, also at Georgia Tech.
Lisa served on the Local Activities Division Committee of the Structural Engineering Institute from 2005-2009 and also as chair of the Georgia Section Structural Technical Group (now an SEI Chapter). Lisa has been involved with volunteering for Toothpick Bridge Building and the West Point Bridge Design Contest. While at Georgia Tech, Lisa served as the Treasurer of the ASCE Student Chapter and participated at both the state and national levels of ASCE, attending three regional conferences and leading the Balsa Wood Bridge and Concrete Beam teams to regional competition.
Most recently, Lisa was the 2012-2013 President of the Georgia Section. Lisa has held many Section Board positions including Past President, Vice President, Treasurer, Director of External Affairs and Younger Member Group Director.
Lisa was honored by being presented with the 2002 ASCE Georgia Younger Civil Engineer of the Year award.
At the National level, Lisa served on the Communications Committee (CCOM) from 2008-2011 and was the ASCE Engineers Week Committee Chair in 2011 and 2012. Lisa was also a Region 5 Governor from 2007-2010. Lisa is currently a corresponding member of the Leader Training Committee (LTC).
