Mr. Subhash Kulkarni is President of Kulkarni Consultants, A Professional Corporation, located in Metairie, Louisiana, which he founded in 1981. The firm is specialized in structural and civil engineering and has successfully designed more than 1,200 commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Mr. Kulkarni earned Master's degrees in Foundation and Structural Engineering and has served as an Adjunct Faculty in Civil Engineering at Tulane University in 1978 and 2006. He served as Chairman, ASCE Structures Committee, New Orleans Chapter, 1998-99 and was Technical Committee Chair, ACI International Convention, New Orleans, 2009. Mr. Kulkarni served as Chair of the City of New Orleans 2004 International Building Code Committee (Foundation). He is a Fellow of School of Environmental Communication, Loyola University, New Orleans. Mr. Kulkarni was presented the Outstanding Civil Engineer Award 2003 by ASCE, Louisiana Section. Mr. Kulkarni has published several papers in national and international journals and has given seminars in local, national, and international conventions. He is a Fellow of ASCE. Mr. Kulkarni has served as District Governor 2001-02 of District 6840 of Rotary International and was Chairman of the Host Organization Committee of Rotary International Convention New Orleans 2011, which was attended by about 19,000 Rotarians from 165 countries around the world.
