William Brittle joined Bechtel in 1969 as a civil engineer and progressed through a number of engineering, supervisory, and functional management positions including chief engineer, project engineer, and engineering manager. He has worked on projects in Power, Transportation, Mining and Metals, and Construction. Mr. Brittle is a Fellow of ASCE and has served as treasurer and president of the Structural Engineering Institute of Maryland. He is presently the president of the Catoctin Branch of the ASCE. Mr. Brittle is a registered professional engineer in Virginia and Maryland and is LEED certified. He has authored and presented numerous papers and presentations relating to civil and structural engineering.
