We're Ready to Discover an Inventor!
Has the next BIG IDEA —been your idea— but someone else got it to market first? Have you spent your time pondering, tinkering, building, or crafting the next Modern Marvel of the 21st century - but weren't sure what to do with it? Now you have a chance to be recognized and win a $25,000 grant for sharing your BIG IDEA and expressing your inventive spirit by entering into the Modern Marvels Invent Now® Challenge.
Twenty-five semi-finalists will exhibit their invention ideas at a national exposition and will participate in a full-day seminar with renowned invention experts. Four finalists will additionally win cash grants and be featured on The History Channel during a special invention-themed week of Modern Marvels programming in May 2006. The 2006 Modern Marvel of the Year winner will receive all the challenge benefits as well as a $25,000 grant toward making their invention idea a reality.
We encourage you to submit your accidental discoveries, eureka moments and triumphant breakthroughs to the Modern Marvels Invent Now Challenge Web site by Dec. 31.
This new program is presented by The History Channel® and Invent Now®, Inc., a division of the National Inventors Hall of Fame® Foundation, and in partnership with Time Magazine and the American Society of Civil Engineers. This program is an extraordinary opportunity for independent inventors to influence the ever-changing face of invention.
