We have made changes to www.asce.org to make it easier for you to find the information you need. Some of these improvements are listed below.
- The ASCE logo appears on every page and provides an additional quick way for you to navigate back to the asce.org home page.
- The global utility links at the top of the page help you to quickly jump to some of the more popular or frequently requested areas of the site.
- "Breadcrumb" navigation at the top of each page keeps track of where you've been, from each click you make on the site navigation at the left. You may use these links to jump backwards as needed.
- Use the Search box to search the ASCE site. Get results quickly and easily, each time.
- Every page has the newly-added 'print this page' function. Want to read a report or news article offline? Now you can easily get the information you want in a printer-friendly format.
- One of the first things you may notice is that the site navigation is condensed into groupings by information topic to the left of your screen. As you bring your mouse over the menu items, if your browser supports it, a sub-menu will pop up to the left. To get to the items on that sub-menu, simply move your cursor directly to the right onto the sub-menu, and then scroll down the list to the item you wish to select.
Those items which have a secondary sub-menu are marked with a small arrow graphic. As before, to get to those items, simply move your cursor to the right onto that secondary sub-menu, and then down to the item you wish to select.
If your browser does not support these pop-up menus, not to worry - simply click the navigation item you wish to explore and you will be taken to a page which gives you a contents listing of everything you would have seen in the pop-up menu.
- Featured special content and other timely events are provided in the right column of high-level pages. Stay current on what's happening at ASCE by checking back often!
- In the footer of each page, you will find links to our Copyright and other legal notices concerning material presented on the site.
- Last, but not least, are email links to contact our Cybrarian (in the event of a question on the site), and our Webmaster (in the event of a more technical question or concern).
