Purpose: to encourage the development of procedures for the adequate and economic construction and maintenance of airfield pavements; to sponsor activities to increase the overall knowledge of construction and maintenance methods; to investigate and report on specific problems in the field of airfield pavement construction and maintenance projects; to encourage the development of new models, methods and procedures for more efficient scheduling of airfield pavements and construction actions; to sponsor activities to increase the overall knowledge of construction scheduling; to coordinate with other organizations with similar interest in and out of the Society.
