JONATHAN D. KEELING, P.E., M.ASCE

REGION 4 GOVERNOR OFFICIAL NOMINEE

Vision Statement

My "vision" for how I can best serve ASCE, and our members, I believe aligns with ASCE's overall vision that "Civil Engineers are global leaders building a better quality of life." I see this in my day to day work, that as a Civil Engineer I know I am helping make a difference with the projects I lead and participate in. In the same way, for ASCE, I am committed to helping make a difference within our region of ASCE - with the primary goal of supporting our local ASCE members in whatever ways I can. To me, this goal is directly related to ASCE's Mission - that is, to provide value to our members, advance civil engineering, and serve the public good. I believe it is critical that as a Governor, in order to complete this mission, you have to be a good communicator and listener, and truly act as a "conduit" between ASCE at the societal level, and the Sections, Branches, Younger Member Groups, and Student Chapters within our region. In my first term as your Governor, I strived to act in that role - and I am committed to continuing to improve in this role if elected again.
