On-Site Circulation and Access Design for Commercial Developments ~Part I
This seminar provides hands-on training for engineers and planners on how to effectively and safely design sites and driveways serving new and existing office, commercial taking into consideration the needs of all road users (motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists). It also provides a sound technical foundation for preparing materials needed to process development projects. Necessary tools and good practices for providing good on site circulation, from the perspectives of both the agency and the developer proposing the project, are covered. Part 1 will discuss on-site circulation issues such as site layout, drive through facilities and parking strategies. The seminar is co-sponsored by ASCE's Transportation & Development Institute and ASCE Continuing Education.
