Traffic Calming: Best Practices, Part I
Although many agencies have been using traffic calming strategies for many years, the results have been mixed. Most agencies failed to put into place a comprehensive set of procedures for process requests from the public to address neighborhood traffic management issues.
The first session of this two-part series will cover information about the best practices for establishing a neighborhood traffic management process including the development of a manual, how this process should be administered, the issues involving the primary stakeholders, and where the pitfalls lie. The seminar is co-sponsored by ASCE's Transportation & Development Institute and ASCE Continuing Education. Part I of this seminar will take place at 12 Noon - 1pm Eastern Time per the date(s) listed. Part II of the series will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 12 Noon - 1pm Eastern Time. $249M/$299NM Per Seminar Site. Or Attend BOTH and pay $498M/ $598NM Per Seminar Site.
