is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers. She recently retired from the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center at University of Louisville. As a Senior Sustainability Engineer, she conducted environmental sustainability assessments for industrial and commercial clients to identify energy, economic, and environmental opportunities as well as develops customized training and workshops.
Cheryl has over 20 years' experience in chemical manufacturing and capital deployment. Her past experience includes working as a process engineer for a chemical company providing day to day support for manufacturing units and leading design teams for capital projects. She has extensive experience in hazard analysis and risk management.
Cheryl received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville's Speed Scientific School. She is also an instructor for the Building Operator Certification Program.
