Structural Subcommittee
Purpose:
The purpose of the COPRI Marine Renewable Energy Structural Sub-Committee is to study and disseminate information on the planning, design, construction, inspection, maintenance, operation, pollution control, and technical functioning of marine renewable energy structures (MRES) above and below the water, including: Foundations and anchoring of MRES; Mooring systems for MRES; Provide Guidance on the applicable standards for the analysis and design of MRES; Port and Harbor infrastructure to support the construction and maintenance of MRES.The committee coordinates its activities through the Marine Renewable Energy committee and cooperates with other ASCE and COPRI committees as directed.
