Since 1983, Taylor Engineering , a Federal Small Business with headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, full-service branch offices in Destin and West Palm Beach, Florida, and field offices in Austin, Texas, Savannah, Georgia, and the U.S. Capital region, provides leading-edge solutions in the water environment. The company focuses its attention on water-related engineering, planning, and environmental challenges with particular emphasis on coastal regions.

To date, Taylor Engineering has provided planning, design, permitting, and construction on over 1,700 dredging, stormwater, hydrology and hydraulics, marine, and coastal engineering projects throughout the world. Further, Taylor Engineering also provides a range of environmental services that include: environmental permitting, environmental assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and evaluate impacts on submerged resources, seagrass, marine life, and wetlands for a wide variety of coastal, marine, dredging, and dredged material engineering projects.

Professional Resources

Taylor Engineering's professional team includes licensed professionals with advanced degrees in engineering and science. The staff consists of registered engineers, scientists, programmers, planners, geographic information systems analysts, IT (information technology) personnel, finance and accounting specialists, and technical editors. Their educational and professional experience encompasses the disciplines of civil, structural, coastal, environmental, water resources, and port engineering; marine biology and chemistry; and GIS and computer science applications.
