Only ASCE members in good standing1 and over the age of 18 are qualified to enter and win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Contestants assume sole responsibility for determining whether their participation is permitted under the laws of their local, state, or national jurisdiction.
Employees of ASCE and members of their households and immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses) are not eligible to participate in the contest.

Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. EST. Monday, February 1, 2016. Maximum of 1 entry per contestant permitted during the entire contest period.
Any entry which is found to be submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and declared ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by a participant to obtain more than one entry by using the same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void the participant's entries and may result in disqualification.
ASCE reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed invalid, inappropriate, or that otherwise violates any of the terms of this contest as determined by ASCE in its sole discretion. All decisions by ASCE shall be final.

The international film shoot trip consists of round-trip coach air transportation for the winner and 1 guest from the major airport gateway nearest to the winner’s residence to the specified destination; up to 4 nights standard hotel accommodations at the destination; a tour of the film shoot location and meet and greet with film producers and staff; a $150 prepaid credit card (prepaid cards are subject to all restrictions and rules of use normally applicable to such prepaid cards. Such prepaid cards can only be redeemed at locations where such prepaid cards are accepted); and round-trip ground transportation between airport and hotel, and between hotel and the film shoot location.
The Laguna Beach, California, trip consists of round-trip coach air transportation for the winner from the major airport gateway nearest to the winner’s residence to Laguna Beach, California; up to 3 nights standard hotel accommodations at the destination; a $100 prepaid credit card (prepaid cards are subject to all restrictions and rules of use normally applicable to such prepaid cards. Such prepaid cards can only be redeemed at locations where such prepaid cards are accepted); and round-trip ground transportation between airport and hotel, and between hotel and the film screening.
The premiere event consists of a screening in your local community. Location and details dependent upon residing location of the winner.
The actual value of the prizes may vary depending upon the location of winners’ legal residence, fares and costs at the time of travel booking, and the value of services rendered and products provided at the time of the events. Any difference between the actual value and ARV will not be awarded. All meals, taxes, gratuities, incidentals (including mini-bar and entertainment expenses), phone charges, ground transportation, baggage fees, and any other expenses not specifically identified in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner must comply with all hotel check-in requirements, including but not limited to providing a major credit card for incidental expenses, and have all necessary travel documents (e.g., photo identification). Winner is responsible for transportation to and from the major airport gateway and his/her residence, including but not limited to, any costs associated therewith.
All federal, state, local or other taxes, including but not limited to income taxes in connection with a winner’s award, acceptance or use of a prize arising from this Contest will be the sole responsibility of each winner.
The ASCE will incur expenses up to $10,000 USD per prize for the international film shoot and Laguna Beach screening trips, and up to $5,000 USD for the community film screening. The allotted money will be applied only to the expenses explicitly stated in the prize descriptions outlined in the Official Rules.
No cash redemption or prize substitution allowed.
Qualified entries will be placed into a random drawing to determine winners. One randomly-selected winner will be designated for each prize; qualified contestants can only win 1 of the 3 prizes to be awarded. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
Winners will be notified of their status and prize by email or phone following the close of the contest.
Within ten (10) business days following notification, the chosen potential winner must confirm their eligibility and indicate their willingness to accept the prize. If a selected winner does not meet the eligibility requirements or elects to decline the prize, he/she will be disqualified. At ASCE’s discretion and time permitting, an alternate winner will be randomly selected from among all remaining eligible entries and notified as outlined above. Disqualified contestants will not receive alternate prize substitution or compensation. Decisions of the ASCE in the selection and determination of prize winners and all matters relating to this contest are final and binding.
Upon accepting the prize, winners will be required to complete, sign, notarize and return an affidavit of eligibility/liability release and a publicity release, which must be returned, properly executed, within seven (7) business days of receipt.
By entering this contest you agree to hold all Released Parties harmless from any claims, losses, actions, or damages of any kind, whether actual, incidental or consequential, for injury (including but not limited to death), damages, losses or expenses arising out of or relating to entrant’s participation, or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or participation in prize-related activities (including but not limited to travel or activity related thereto), and to assume all liability therefor.
By submitting a textual, audio, or video response to Share Your Dream, you irrevocably grant to ASCE a perpetual, royalty-free and unconditional license to copy, post, display, distribute, perform publicly, adapt, edit, and otherwise use the submission worldwide in any and all forms of media, for any purpose, without limitation. You certify that you are the original copyright holder of any such submission or that you have all necessary rights to grant such permission to ASCE.
Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest shall be resolved exclusively by the Federal or state courts located in Fairfax County, VA; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contents, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.
