Nicholas Lutzweiler is the owner of Lutzweiler Engineering PLLC in Jamestown, North Carolina. He has eight years of experience in Civil Engineering and related construction. During those eight years, he has worked on projects ranging from investigating residential wall cracks, to 200,000 square foot schools, to structural designs for industrial facilities. Specifically, since creating his own company in 2014, he has worked on projects such as the renovation of a 100-year old cow barn, a pool addition to a local YMCA, numerous rooftop equipment support frames, as well as the structural design of a local maintenance facility, among many other things. His project experience includes the design of load bearing masonry structures, steel structures, analysis of existing buildings, investigations and studies of existing structural issues, and the design of new and renovated wood construction. He is currently a member of AISC, ASCE, and is the Vice President of the local SEA Chapter. Nicholas has a bachelor's and master's degree in Civil Engineering, both from North Carolina State University, where he graduated as the valedictorian of his class.
