EWRI Members Elect Their FY2017 Vice President
EWRI is pleased to announce the election of Glenn E. Moglen, Ph.D., P.E., F.ASCE, F.EWRI, as Vice President-Elect of the Institute's Governing Board. Having been voted to the position by his peers in EWRI, Glenn will participate in a leadership role for the next four years, rotating through the positions of Vice President, President-Elect, President, and Past-President. During his tenure on the Governing Board, Glenn will maintain a variety of roles and responsibilities that vary with each title he assumes.
Glenn Moglen (pictured right) is a Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In his career, he has held several prestigious academic positions including Visiting Hydrologist for the U.S. Geological Survey and Laboratory Director at the Occoquan Laboratory. His commitment to ASCE and EWRI for the past 10 years has included chairing the Watershed Management Technical Committee as well as the 2005 Watershed Management Conference; serving on the ASCE Task Committee on Impervious Surfaces; and serving as Associate Editor of the ASCE Journal of Hydrologic Engineering from 2008-2012.
