DOT Partner Program Terms and Conditions

ASCE’s DOT Partner Program was established to encourage DOT employees at all levels to gain access to the valuable benefits of ASCE membership.

The goals and objectives of this Program include:

  • Promote a coordinated effort to build the professional capacity of DOT civil engineering professionals who plan, design, construct, and maintain roadways, bridges, and other transportation infrastructure.
  • Advance the common mission of the DOT and ASCE through offering and promoting full membership in ASCE for civil engineering professionals employed by a DOT.

To meet these goals and objectives -

ASCE will:

  1. Provide a unique Discount Code* allowing DOT Partner employees to purchase their Society membership online at a discount rate. Usage of the discount code delivers a 25 percent discount to Society dues at the point of purchase. No discounts are offered for section dues, Life, or Student Memberships. (retired and former employees are not eligible for these discounts).

  2. Provide access to the Pay-As-You-Go option to save 20 percent off ASCE Continuing education programs and receive access to the ASCE Conference Access benefit that provides a 20 percent discount on full conference registration to attend ASCE/Society-hosted conferences.

  3. Annually, prior to ASCE’s membership renewal cycle that begins on September 1, provide a list of the DOT employees who utilized the dues discount code in the current year.

  4. From time-to-time ASCE may communicate engagement opportunities, resources, and events that may be of interest to the DOT Partner’s ASCE members to encourage full utilization of their member benefits.

  5. Provide DOT Partner program participants with a dedicated staff contact who will communicate products and member lists. The Point of Contact (POC) for ASCE’s DOT Partner Program is Evelyn Kitchen, ASCE DOT Partner Program, [email protected] or [email protected], Customer Service: 800-548-2723.

DOT Partner will:

  1. Annually prior to ASCE’s membership renewal cycle, notify ASCE of individuals on the list of ASCE members* provided by ASCE who are no longer employed by the DOT.

  2. Annually prior to ASCE’s membership renewal cycle, communicate to the DOT employees their opportunity to receive a discount on ASCE membership dues (retired and former employees are not eligible for these discounts).

  3. Partner with ASCE to foster membership growth among the DOT employees, with a goal of growth each year of the partnership.

  4. Promote no additional cost benefits and member value to encourage employee and member retention (may only be used by current DOT employees).

  5. Promote other partner discount opportunities related to training and conference registrations (may only be used by current DOT employees).

  6. Provide a Point of Contact (POC) to ASCE for communicating updates and reviewing membership reports. DOT will provide POC Name, Title, DOT Name, Address, Email, and Phone.

*This is not intended to create a binding agreement between the DOT and ASCE. Participation in this program is contingent on adherence to the above goals and objectives through a mutually beneficial partnership. DOT Partner Program participants have the right to cease participation at any time. ASCE also reserves the right to deactivate the discount provided to the DOT at any time. Should ASCE be unable to contact the Partner POC, or if ASCE receives no validation of annual membership lists. ASCE will discontinue the discount.
