Nominees must be either an ASCE Member or Fellow, and be considered eminent in a civil engineering branch. Practitioners and academics can be nominated.
Recently elected Distinguished Members have been CEOs of engineering firms, top researchers in an engineering discipline, and renowned educators preparing the next generation of civil engineering professionals.
