New Faces of Civil Engineering
ASCE’s New Faces of Civil Engineering
recognition programs highlight the next generation of civil engineering
leaders. By showcasing young, diverse, talented engineers the program
shows that engineering is an exciting profession open to everyone. ASCE
selects 10 honorees in each of two divisions: Collegiate and Professional.
Outstanding Projects and Leaders
Established in 1999, the OPAL Awards
recognize and honor outstanding civil engineering leaders whose
lifetime accomplishments and achievements have made significant
differences in one of five categories: construction, design, education,
government, and management.
Distinguished members
Distinguished Membership
is the highest honor ASCE can bestow. It is reserved for civil
engineers who are either ASCE members or fellows. One class of
recipients is formally inducted annually.
