Impact of COVID-19 on Structures Congress
Public safety is a core part of the ASCE mission, and concerns about the COVID-19 Coronavirus and our upcoming Structures Congress are being taken very seriously. We understand travel concerns are top of mind, and we want to be as transparent as possible and share information about what we are doing to prepare.
We are actively monitoring information from the CDC and other government sources regarding the novel Coronavirus. Based on the current information, we are holding Structures Congress 2020, April 5-8 in St. Louis.
The conference hotel, the St. Louis Union Station Hotel, is taking steps to address concerns by providing hand sanitizer stations at each front desk counter, in the Exhibit Hall, and throughout the plenary room (Grand Ballroom DEF) for all attendees use.
That said, we understand that the current situation and uncertainty may cause some attendees to rethink their travel plans. We encourage everyone to make responsible decisions to stay home if they are sick and avoid travel from high-risk areas.
