      Subsurface Utility Engineering & Investigations Committee

      Purpose: to identify all tasks, knowledge, judgement, techniques, and equipment necessary to conduct effective utility investigations, including data collection, analysis, depiction, reporting, and recommendations for risk management. It expands upon the collection and depiction aspects of subsurface utility engineering as described in ASCE 38, Standard Guideline for the Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data.
