Craig W. Bursch, P.E., F.ASCE

2020–2023 Region 3 Governor

Vision Statement

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is a wonderful and vibrant organization. I am proud to have been an active member for nearly three decades, beginning as a student member at the University of Minnesota in the early 1990s.

I feel ASCE works best when active in the following areas:

  • Advocacy. Our organization is the leading voice on infrastructure policy at the local, state and federal levels. We need to push and encourage ASCE members to be proactively engaged with elected officials at all levels of government.
  • Generational Interaction. There is nothing better than watching civil engineering students interacting with practicing engineers and our Life members at ASCE events. The exchange of stories and viewpoints brings something positive to all involved. These interactions need to be fostered at every opportunity.
  • Simplifying life for practicing engineers. I will pursue policies that bring value to the rank-and-file membership and make their lives easier.

I am asking for your help and your vote so I can continue to advocate for these issues at the Region Level.
