Rick Boudreau Selected as T&DI Board's Official Nominee for the Four-Year Elected Position
Mr. Boudreau has 28 years of experience practicing in the civil engineering profession, with the past 18 years managing a pavement engineering firm as the Treasurer and Executive Vice President. His expertise includes program/project management, planning, engineering and construction management for large roadway networks, and highway and airfield pavement projects. He is the author of eighteen publications, and is an experienced presenter and active member of professional societies.
Mr. Boudreau has been a member of the Airfield Pavement Committee (APC) of T&DI since 2001. In recent years, he has served APC as Co-Chair (2015-16) and then as the Chair (2017-2018). In the past, he was Co-Chair (2005-06) and Chair (2007-08) for the Construction Institute's Bituminous Materials Committee. Mr. Boudreau holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University.
Additional nominees for the 4-year position on T&DI's Board of Governors may be submitted through a petition process. To nominate someone through the petition process, you must submit a petition to the Institute Director which must be received no later than May 5, 2018, containing the signatures of 150 members in good standing of T&DI. (Student members are not eligible to sign the petition.) Accompanying the petition shall be a statement from the potential nominee indicating their willingness to stand for election if nominated and to serve if elected, along with a biographical statement highlighting their service to T&DI, ASCE, and other professional and technical organizations, and a photo of the person. To be considered for the position on the Board of Governors, the nominee shall be a Member in good standing of T&DI and a member in good standing of ASCE at the time of nomination. Student members are not eligible for election to the Board of Governors.
