Terry Moy is Recipient of 2016 ASCE Pipelines Division Award of Excellence
Terrence L. Moy, P.E., F.ASCE is the recipient of the 2016 ASCE Pipelines Division Award of Excellence. The Pipelines Division Award of Excellence was established in 1988 by the ASCE's Pipelines Division. It is given to a Fellow, Member, or Associate Member of ASCE who is adjudged by the Executive Committee to have given outstanding continuous and conspicuous service to the profession, ASCE, and the Pipeline Division.
Mr. Moy is the current past-chair of the ASCE Pipelines Division Executive Committee, a technical committee member of the Trenchless Installation of Pipelines (TIPS), a blue ribbon reviewer of the Trenchless Renewal of Culverts and Storm Sewers - ASCE Manual of Practice No. 120, a contributing author of Pipe Ramming Projects - ASCE Manual of Practice No. 115 and the Pipe Bursting Projects - ASCE Manual of Practice No. 112. Terry is also a contributing author of several other ASCE and
Water Environment Federation
(WEF) Manuals of Practice.
Terry has 40 years of experience in civil engineering design and construction management including work as a consultant and public works director. His work history includes water/wastewater plant design, pipeline design and condition assessment, design-build construction, hydraulic modeling, infrastructure asset management/geographic information systems and master planning for municipal, industrial, and federal/military clients including work in 13 countries.
Terry is a member of the
North American Society for Trenchless Technologies
(NASTT), a Cured In Place Pipe certified inspector for the
National Association of Sewer Service Companies
(NASSCO) and a member of the
Georgia Association of Water Professionals
Mr. Moy was recognized during the Pipelines Awards Luncheon held on July 19 during the ASCE Pipelines 2016 Conference in Kansas City. The 2017 Pipelines Division Award of Excellence will be presented during the Pipelines conference on August 8, 2017 in Arizona.
