UESI Welcomes New Board Members for 2019

UESI welcomes two new Board of Governors members for FY2019. Joining the board for three-year terms will be Victor E. Fernandez-Cuervo, P.E., CGC, ENV SP, F.ASCE; and Patrick White, P.E., M.ASCE.
Pat White is a Water Project Manager for Jacobs Engineering. He is responsible for business and client development, and technical expertise in water infrastructure projects. Prior to joining Jacobs, Pat worked for several engineering firms in the Billings, MT area, including CTA, Inc., and Morrison Maierle Inc. He worked primarily on municipal infrastructure projects including utilities relocating, water, wastewater, and storm water projects. Pat has been an active ASCE volunteer, is a past ASCE Region 8 Governor and a past member of ASCE Board-level Committee on Technical Advancement (CTA. Within UESI, Pat was a member of the Task Committee on Sustainable Design of Pipelines Pipelines that has recently completed a new Manual of Practice. Pat is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Washington and Montana.
VICTOR E. FERNANDEZ-CUERVO
Victor Fernandez-Cuervo is employed by Miami-Dade County, Miami, Florida. He was recently promoted within the county's Planning, Design and Construction Excellence Division to a new position working on projects in parks, marinas, golf courses, biking/walking trails, gun range and zoo facilities. Victor will still have a working role on engineering, construction, capital projects and programs and plan to stay fully abreast and in tune with the latest practices within the utility.
Victor has been very active within UESI's Pipeline Division and has served on the Executive Committee for the past five years and recently completed his role as the past chair of the Pipelines Division Executive Committee at the end of September 2018. Victor is a licensed professional engineer in the State of Florida, a Fellow of ASCE, a certified Environment Sustainable Professional, and a certified General Contractor in the State of Florida.
