Over two days, connect with colleagues nationwide to explore the evolving risk profile associated with alternative delivery methods. Hosted by ASCE’s Committee on Claims Reduction and Management (CCRM), this event aims to support the development of best practices and recommendation documents arising from participants’ collective knowledge and experiences. Topics will include teaming agreements and providing services during design and construction on Design-Build and CMAR projects.
Workshop objective
Learn from other engineering firms about the evolving risk profile associated with Project Alternative Delivery methods focusing on Construction Management at Risk, Design-Build and Progressive Design-Build. Learn about improvements to operational procedures that reduce the frequency and severity of professional liability claims. At the end of the session, issue a best practice proceedings document summarizing discussions and recommended practices.
