Engineering Societies of America, LLC
ESA, incorporated in 2019, supports the advancement of engineering in the public interest by serving as the United States representative to the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) and as a stakeholder at other UN-affiliated fora.
ESA’s primary objective is to bring together the various professional organizations toward a more comprehensive, collective, and solutions-oriented conversation on topics that include:
- Climate challenges
- Sustainability and resilience
- Acceleration of UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Capacity building to address challenges of the future
- Guiding development and implementation of technologies and tools, including AI, that benefit humankind
- Engineering representation at the UN regarding sustainability and sustainable development
- Engineering education for sustainable development
