Guoming Lin, Ph.D., G.E., D.GE. is a vice president and senior geotechnical consultant with Terracon Consultants in Savannah, Georgia. For the past 30 years, he has led a team of geotechnical engineers and scientists to provide geotechnical services for over 5,000 projects. His project portfolio includes all major waterfront structures for the Georgia Ports in Savannah and Brunswick and several multi-billon energy and manufacturing projects. He is a licensed Geotechnical Engineer (G.E.) in California and Professional Engineer (P.E.) in several states. He is a certified Diplomate in Geotechnical Engineering (D.GE) by the Academy of Geoprofessionals (AGP) and has authored more than 20 technical papers. He was the principal engineer for one Grand Award (2006) and three State Awards (1997, 1999, 2018) in ACEC/GA Engineering Excellence Award.
