Svitlana Mooney is a highly accomplished engineering and construction executive with 30+ years of experience leading large-scale infrastructure, industrial, municipal, and government programs, along with 20+ years in system safety, project controls, earned value analysis, and CPM scheduling. She has managed multidisciplinary teams of 100 to 1,000 people and delivered projects spanning gold mining infrastructure, oil and gas, SAGD developments, military airfields, roads, buildings, drainage, water systems, and structural concrete. Her career includes leadership roles supporting U.S. government programs, FEMA disaster recovery, municipal development, and private-sector capital construction, with deep knowledge of compliance, quality, cost control, and strategic planning. She is known for combining technical engineering expertise with strong leadership, process improvement, and practical execution to deliver safe, compliant, and high-performing results.
Svitlana is ABET PEV for over 13 years. She was a member of ASCE Sub-Committee for Accreditation and Education for four years. She had over twenty site visits in the USA and international university to evaluate architectural, construction, and civil engineering programs. She is a member of newly formed Committee on Advancing Accreditation and Committee on Career Advancement. She is a senior member of International Society of System Safety. Svitlana dedicate her lesson-learned experience for Safety Mishap Prevention federal and DOW regulations and standards review.
