Mark your calendars if you haven’t already.

ASCE Day 2021 is approaching.

ASCE Day celebrates the Society’s founding on Nov. 5, 1852. Twelve esteemed engineers gathered at New York City’s Croton Aqueduct to establish what would become the American Society of Civil Engineers.

And with 2021 marking ASCE’s 169th anniversary, here are three ways you can celebrate this Nov. 5:

Get social

Use the #ASCEDay hashtag on social media to join the celebration and share what ASCE means to you.

Special offers

Members can take advantage of several ASCE Day offers, including discounts on the annual bridges calendar. The ASCE store is celebrating with specially priced $18.52 logo merchandise and free gifts with every purchase.

ASCE is also offering 50% off an “Engineering the Future – Code of Ethics” webinar, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT, Nov. 5.

Give back

And of course, the best way to celebrate ASCE is to give back to the organization with a donation to the ASCE Foundation.
