With the 2022 ASCE election opening to voters in less than a month, Society members can learn more about the official nominees for president-elect in a pair of nominee forums this month.

This year’s official nominees are Marsia Geldert-Murphey, P.E., F.ASCE, and Peter M. Moore, P.E., ENV SP, LEED AP, F.ASCE. ASCE will induct the election winner as the 2023 president-elect at the Society’s annual business meeting during the ASCE 2022 Convention in October in Anaheim, California.

The nominee forums, hosted on Zoom, give members the chance to learn more about the nominees and ask them questions about how they intend to lead the Society.

The remaining 2022 nominee forum is scheduled for:

  • 8 p.m. EDT, Thursday, April 28

In addition to the nominee forums, Geldert-Murphey and Moore recently recorded video Q&A sessions:

Opening statement

How can ASCE help members maximize the recent bipartisan infrastructure law?

How can ASCE use Future World Vision to better inform Society decisions or put members in position to thrive in a changing future?

What should ASCE prioritize to make it an even greater value to its younger members?

The ASCE election opens May 1 with online ballots accepted through June 1.
