Infrastructure can’t exist without advocacy.
And that’s why civil engineers convene on Capitol Hill each year for ASCE’s Legislative Fly-In, where members get the chance to meet with their elected officials and get policymakers behind infrastructure advancement.
At this year’s edition of the event, over 265 ASCE members from 48 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico came together to promote the Society’s legislative priorities in Washington, D.C., March 17-18.
The Fly-In has proven to be a powerful driver of change. At this year’s event, Civil Engineering Source asked five returning advocates: What’s your Legislative Fly-In success story?
Find out below what they are most proud of.
