Region 7 Governor Official Nominee

Vision statement

My vision as an ASCE Regional Governor is to create a dynamic and collaborative environment that empowers Sections, Branches, and Student Chapters to thrive and deliver exceptional value to their members. I aspire to strengthen the connection between local leaders and the Society by fostering open communication, sharing best practices, and providing resources that enable innovation and growth.

I envision a region where civil engineers are inspired to lead with integrity, embrace sustainability, and champion diversity and inclusion in every facet of the profession. By promoting professional development, mentorship, and leadership opportunities, we will cultivate the next generation of engineers who are prepared to address the challenges of a rapidly evolving world.

Through strategic partnerships with industry, academia, and community organizations, I aim to amplify ASCE’s voice in public policy and infrastructure advocacy, ensuring that our profession remains at the forefront of shaping resilient and sustainable communities.

Ultimately, my goal is to build a region that exemplifies excellence, collaboration, and impact—where every member feels connected, supported, and empowered to make a difference. Together, we will advance ASCE’s mission and create a lasting legacy for the civil engineering profession.
