Vision statement

Civil engineers play a vital role in leading the development of resilient, smart and sustainable cities of the future. We must adapt to the changing times to stay relevant and grab the interest of the future generations entering college. I have always promoted engineering as a lifelong career and not just a job.
I believe it is important to encourage service within our industry. You get back what you put in. We have numerous engineers in our field that don’t understand the value of joining an engineering organization. These colleagues of ours are sitting on the sidelines waiting to be asked to enter the game and join our mission. We can accomplish so much more by banding together to achieve our common goal.
To accomplish these aspirations, we must promote our commitment to being ethical with respect to our profession and practice tolerance, respect and inclusivity. The future will require innovation, imagination and the best and brightest minds of our future generations. Let’s move forward together to realize our Future World Vision.
