Region 4 Governor Official Nominee
Vision statement
As a Region Governor for North Carolina, I aim to strengthen engagement, communication, and a sense of community across the Branch, Section, and Region levels. Our profession is grounded in thoughtful planning, long-term vision, and public service. In that spirit, we must continue building a strong foundation by supporting students, young professionals, and emerging leaders through mentorship and meaningful opportunities for involvement. Investing in the future of our profession means ensuring the next generation feels heard, valued, and empowered to contribute.
North Carolina and our Region face significant infrastructure challenges, and civil engineers must help lead the solutions. The Infrastructure Report Card remains a critical tool for communicating needs and advocating for responsible investment with state and local leaders. A key focus of my time on the North Carolina Section Board was developing the first state report card since 2013. I look forward to building on that success by promoting continued advocacy efforts and encouraging regular updates across our state and Region 4. By doing so, we can position our members as trusted technical resources and champions for resilient, well-funded infrastructure.
I look forward to collaborating with the Region 4 Board to share best practices, support members, and strengthen connections across all levels of our organization and spread excitement about ASCE’s bright future.
