Vision statement
Since becoming a Student Member in 2010, ASCE has afforded me the opportunity to surround myself with and learn from other like-minded individuals. It also gave me the tools and resources to become a more confident engineer while adding significant technical, professional, and social skills to my toolbox. I have been able to develop these tools through numerous meetings, symposiums, conferences, and leadership positions during my tenure. My greatest impact to ASCE and success was serving on the Committee on Younger Members. I was privileged to witness our top caliber membership and leadership of ASCE and wish to continue my service. My goal as Governor is to “help you matter more and enable you to make a bigger difference” within the community. I will do this by serving and helping all members, institutes, sections, branches, younger members, students, and life members to build strong networks and take advantage of all the valuable resources that ASCE offers. My aspiration is to provide continued growth and support to the organization’s future leaders, which will be essential in solving some of Society’s toughest challenges in a way that holds Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) paramount.
