Region 2 Governor Official Nominee
Vision statement
As a Region 2 Governor, I will strive to engage new members of ASCE the same way I was welcomed in. When I first joined the Lehigh Valley Section, I was unfamiliar with many aspects of ASCE, as well as what career path to take. As I began to attend events and meet new people, I quickly became more familiar with ASCE and how to approach my career development, thanks to the connections I made.
Since beginning my involvement with the Lehigh Valley Section, I took on various roles leading up to Section President, a role I’ve had since August 2024. Every step of the way, I decided to take on each role because of how welcoming the section was to me. As Section President, I have focused on engaging new members through social/networking events, as well as co-hosting events with other similar professional societies. As Region 2 Governor, I intend to assist the Sections/Branches of Region 2 with taking on similar efforts, with the goal of more active members/engagement.
