Vision statement

I plan to focus my attention at the local level to increase documentation of processes within each section regarding basic tasks like communication, hosting of annual meetings, coordination of social events, and data gathering for the infrastructure report card. Since officers turnover each year, the knowledge of how to carry out these basic tasks can be lost. I also plan to assist sections in the fostering of member growth and participation through constant communication and planning of unique events. Promotion of the many ASCE opportunities and benefits, such as conferences and webinars, is another concept that I intend to bring forward. I hope to learn and work with the rest of the Region 5 Board to develop best practices and improvements that can be shared with our members.
