It is a sense of pride and prestige for engineers to earn a Professional Engineers (PE) license, the path from student to PE can take many years between earning an engineering degree, gaining the required experience, and taking examinations. After achieving their goal, a PE is often met with a pay raise and a job title change in reward for all their hard work! But now what? What’s next? Often, young engineers are so focused on earning their PE, that no time is spent looking at professional paths, goals, and opportunities beyond that! Deciding what you want to do next can be difficult. This presentation will explore some of the paths, goals, and opportunities that new PE’s can explore.
