Brandon Shelley is a registered professional engineer in the commonwealth of Kentucky and has nearly a decade of experience in the private and public sectors of civil engineering. Mr. Shelley is a traffic engineer with the Department of Public Works & Transportation at LouisvilleāJefferson County Metro Government in Louisville, Kentucky and has served as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Louisville since May 2011. His research areas include traffic simulation modeling, traffic signal operations and analysis, the integration of emerging technologies with existing traffic infrastructure, and highway safety improvement projects. He is an active member in the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers (KSPE), the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), and ITS America.
