Charles C. Calhoun is a civil engineer in private practice. He conducted ASCE’s “Leadership Development for the Engineer” seminar for over 15 years and the condensed online version of that seminar is still available through ASCE. He has conducted leadership and ethics seminars throughout the country not only for ASCE, but for other professional organizations (including NSPE, ACEC, SAME, SWE), private firms, universities and governmental agencies.

Ethics is an important and integral part of all of his seminars. He draws heavily on his experience as a manager in Federal Service as well as leadership positions in ASCE. He served as President of the Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute (COPRI) and as a member of the Advisory Council for the Report Card for America's Infrastructure. He is a member of the ASCE Committee on Ethical Practice. His practical experience is reinforced with continual formal training and personal study to keep his seminars relevant, useful and fun.
