D. Matthew Stuart P.E., S.E., P.Eng., F.ASCE, F.SEI, A.NAFE, has over 45 years of experience and has served as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, Structural Department Head and Engineer of Record on a wide variety of commercial, institutional, manufacturing, process and industrial facilities throughout the United States and Canada. He has been responsible for the design, coordination, administration, and management of the structural engineering for a diverse spectrum of projects including the renovation, preservation, and adaptive reuse of a variety of Different types of buildings and structures. He has also designed and implemented the strengthening and restoration of a wide deficient and deteriorated buildings and structures. Mr. Stuart is an ASCE and SEI Charter Member, an ASCE Life Member, licensed in 41 states and 2 Canadian provinces, and has authored 55 technical articles published in Modern Steel Construction, Structural Engineer, and Structure Magazine. Mr. Stuart has also served as an adjunct professor for Lehigh University, Widener University, and Georgia Southern University, and lectured at Manhattan College and Drexel University.
