Dr. Jenny Sideri is Senior Associate in Thornton Tomasetti’s Forensics practice, specializing in forensic investigations including fire forensics, and fire performance-based design. Her expertise includes litigation and post-loss support, and structural damage assessment and rehabilitation of existing structures. She is also skilled in advanced analytics and finite element analysis for complex structural evaluations under extreme loading conditions. Jenny received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University and her B.E./Integrated M.Sc. from the National Technical University of Athens. Jenny is a frequent speaker at industry events and has published in a variety of journals and international conferences. She has also been a guest lecturer in various universities, teaching both forensic engineering and structural fire engineering. Jenny leads the Fire Engineering Community of Practice at Thornton Tomasetti. She also serves on the ASCE/SEI Technical Committee for Advancement of Performance-Based Design and is the Chair of its Performance-Based Structural Fire Design (PBSFD) Subcommittee.
