Lennart Andersson has 20 years of experience applying Building Information Model (BIM) methodologies on a wide variety of projects. He is spearheading the firm-wide adoption of VDCO at LiRo. is the director of Virtual Design, Construction & Operations (VDCO) at LiRo. He is an architect and has an engineering degree. He teaches at Pratt Institute in New York, where he is leading an advanced collaborative BIM studio between architects, construction managers and facilities management graduate students.

He is also the Vice President of the Revit User group of New York and has hosted several seminars, workshops and keynotes for organizations such as National Institute of Building Sciences, American Society of Civil engineers, American Institute of Architects, Construction Management Association of America, Autodesk University as well as international conferences. Prior to LiRo, he was an Associate Architect at BBG-BBGM where he worked on multiple international large-scale high-end hospitality projects as well as authoring the BIM usage guidelines and leading the BIM standards committee.

He is an author of a book on cutting edge Virtual Design & Construction methodologies for Routledge Publishing house. Lennart is the recipient of the Autodesk Excellence Award for Heavy Civil projects in 2017, Digital Edge 50 Award in 2018 and the CIO 100 Award in 2019. He has been a member of the Center of Architecture professional practice committee. He has a bachelor's degrees in Engineering from Sweden and a master's degree in architecture from Savannah College of Art & Design.
