Scott Ledgerwood works in the Public Safety Communication Research (PSCR) Division at NIST is focused on improved usability, user interface testing, and mobile device security for first responders. His team is developing new test methodologies leveraging virtual and augmented reality to enable improved research, testing and development of first responder technologies. Prior to joining NIST in 2015, Scott worked at the DHS where he managed security teams responsible for IT Security Risk Assessments and FISMA Compliance. Scott holds a BS in Applied Information Technology from George Mason University and an MBA from Bellevue University, and a MS in Telecommunications from University of Colorado - Boulder.
