Silas Nichols has more than 20 years of experience in geotechnical engineering in private and public sector work. Silas is a certified Master Trainer and has developed and taught numerous short courses in structural foundations, earth retaining structures, and ground improvement for the accredited National Highway Institute. Silas is an adjunct lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Delaware, and has previously lectured at The Catholic University of America and the University of Virginia. Silas has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University and a Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Tuft’s University.
