has over 25 years of experience in scaled laboratory physical and numeric modeling. He is the President of Alden Research Laboratory, Inc. in their Holden, MA, location. Since joining Alden in 1996 to start the CFD Modeling Group, he has served as a senior hydraulic modeler using computational fluid dynamics and physical models to investigate a broad range of hydraulic problems, including complex single- and two-phase flows involving water treatment processes, civil hydraulic structures, riverine systems, nuclear power plant systems, and process gas flow systems. He has written and developed numerous computer codes for studying both internal and external flows, and has experience using the commercial codes ANSYS Fluent and Flow 3D.
