Thomas Gorman is a professor at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, where he has been teaching and conducting research related to wood engineering since 1987. Prior to coming to Idaho, he was a Research Engineer at the USDA Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin. He holds a M.S. (1984) and Ph.D. (1987) in Wood Products Engineering from S.U.N.Y. College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, New York. His B.S. in Wood Science and Technology was completed in 1980 at the University of Massachusetts. He is licensed in Idaho, Washington, and Montana.
